Job Description

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will form part of the brand voice of Village Blinds & Shutters, writing copy, creating engaging video content across all our channels, creating and repurposing content, finding user generated content, creating social assets, growing our reach.

You will use your creative skills to share the story of our quality and craftsmanship through video content, where you will show you are as confident in front of the camera as you are behind the scenes. You will augment this with thoughtfully prepared blog content, to create a valued community experience for your readers.

Essential criteria

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Solid experience managing social media accounts, with an established brand.
• Have a proven track record writing engaging copy for web.
• Excellent video editing skills to create small interactive assets.
• Competent in using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Photoshop / Canva or similar, Camtasia / FinalCutPro or similar.
• Full UK driving license, (cars)

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of SEO basic principles.
• Experience with Facebook Ads management.
• Experience in CMS platforms including WordPress and Magento.
• Confident using Adobe Creative Cloud for image editing including print work.
• Planning, and support of exhibitions and events.
