MEET THE TEAM

If you call into our showroom in Pennybridge, chances are, you will be greeted by Tracey’s smiling face. With over 20 years at Village Blinds, there’s not much she doesn’t know about blinds.

Darren is the linchpin of our trade sales team, he has built up a wealth of knowledge in his time here, so is a great resource if you have a technical question. Go on… Test him.

Small, but mighty, (loud), Lisa works on our vertical blind production line. As you can see, Lisa gets wrapped up in her work sometimes. 

Shirley’s work on our Roman blind line has to be seen to be believed. She makes this incredibly intricate process look “sew” easy.

Hard at work on our Vertical Blind production line is Philip. He assembles all the headrail components for each blind. If he could be an animal, Philip would be a seal… (yes, weird).

Stewart from our roller blind team cuts down the fabric for every roller. Outside work, Stewart swaps roller blinds for trees as a budding Lumberjack.

Suzanne assembles all the component parts of each roller blind, adds the finishing touches and even packages them too. Suzanne’s eagle-eyed attention to detail has made her a bit of a legend in VB.

Ryan, AKA Smiler works on our wooden Venetian blind production line. Despite being a bit of a joker, we “wooden” want anyone else creating our wood Venetian blinds.

Harold founded the company way back in 1991. Some say his brain is like a blinds encyclopaedia. He insists on perfection, (and hot tea).

It has been said, that Phillip our General Manager has blinds in his blood, (yuck). A serial entrepreneur, he hates paper, but loves chicken fillet burgers.

Jamie runs the production facility for Village Blinds. He’s responsible for maintaining stock levels, making sure orders go out on time and hoovering up snacks when possible.

Judith runs our incredibly busy accounts department. Our in-house spreadsheets guru, It’s been said, she’s so good, she uses two calculators at once.

Claire is an immensely talented graphic designer working in our Marketing department. Once, Claire accidentally set fire to blinds in her home, (she didn’t mention this in her interview).

Andrew is our digital marketing expert/nerd. He loves solving problems, (most of which he’s caused himself). Strangely, Andrew is the only person in the company that doesn’t like buns!
