Who is Village Blinds?
Village Blinds is a locally owned family business based in Ballymena County Antrim. We’ve been making blinds right here in County Antrim since 1991. Over those years, we’ve supplied blinds which have been installed in hundreds of thousands of homes across Northern Ireland and the UK. Homes just like yours, and ours.
We’re proud to be a thriving manufacturing business in Ballymena, we love our community and take our commitment to the local area and our team of over 30 employees at our Pennybridge factory and showroom very seriously.

Free Home Consultations FAQ.
One of our most popular services is our free measuring or home consultation service.
Booking a home consultation takes the guesswork out of measuring for your new blinds. We come to visit your home at a time that suits you to ensure accurate sizes for your blinds and provide you with a quotation for the blinds you would like.
What areas do you provide home measuring in?
We provide our free home consultation service to customers across County Antrim, including Greater Belfast, North Down, and the Mid Ulster area. If you live outside these areas, don’t worry, get in touch and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.
How do I book a free home appointment?
Booking your free appointment couldn’t be easier. Simply call us on: 028 2564 4444, or complete our booking inquiry form and we’ll take it from there.
What happens next?
Our customer service team will review your appointment request and contact you to confirm a time that suits you best. Please make a point of informing them of any special instructions/requirements you may have.
What happens during a home appointment?
Our representative will arrive at time agreed and discuss your ideas and plans. They will present you with our range of material samples and colours and offer friendly knowledgeable advice based on the information you have provided. On average a home consultation takes around 20-45 minutes. We pride ourselves in our integrity and honesty and will never pressure sell under any circumstances.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the home appointment?
If possible we would ask that you move any breakable vases or ornaments from the window area, and if possible move any furniture to aid access to the window area. This helps our representatives provide you with an efficient service.
What happens after the home appointment?
If you decide to place an order we can process your deposit, (50% minimum). This can be paid directly to our representative via credit/debit transaction, by cheque or cash. Once we receive a deposit for your blinds we will begin the manufacturing process and when they are ready we will contact you to arrange the fitting, (if required).

About our 0% finance offer
We’ve partnered with Omni Capital Retail Finance to offer customers interest-free payments on orders £250 or over. (Subject to status, terms and conditions apply).
Am I eligible to apply?
Yes, If you are aged 18 or over, have been a UK resident for at least 3 years in permanent paid employment (over 16 hours per week), retired (receiving a pension), in receipt of a disability benefit or self-employed and with a UK bank or building socienty current account to accept direct debits
What’s the application process?
The process usually takes around 10-15 minutes to complete. using The Omni Retail Finance Site. You will be asked information about your residential employment history as well as your bank details. You will also be asked to approve a credit check based on the information you have provided.
Once you have completed the application process you will usually get an instant decision. There are 3 possible outcomes.
Great news! You will then have to pay us the agreed deposit to proceed with the transaction, then we’ll get to work on your new blinds.
The application has gone to an underwriter who will manually look at the details. They may contact you via the methods you have indicated or ask you to upload supporting documents for your application to be considered.
Unfortunately, the application has not been accepted.
I’ve been accepted, what’s next?
Once you have paid your agreed deposit we will start the manufacturing process. Once the blinds are complete we will contact you to schedule a convenient date and time for fitting.

Free Fitting FAQ.
Is your fitting service really free?
Yes, if you have bought a blind from Village Blinds and your home in the County Antrim area, including Greater Belfast, North Down or Mid Ulster, fitting is included free of charge.
I live outside your area is it still free?
If you live outside our area, free fitting can still be arranged, (appointment dates might be a bit more limited though). Your best option is to get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to help.
I’ve ordered my new blinds, when will they be fitted?
Our customer service team will keep you updated on the progress of your blinds being made for you. Once they’re ready we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable free fitting date and time. You can always give us a call on: 028 2564 4444 and we’ll be happy to help in any way possible.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the free fitting of my blinds?
Yes, If possible we would ask that you move any breakable vases or ornaments from the window area, and if possible move any furniture to aid access to the window area. Also you will need to remove any existing blinds from the window. This helps our installation team provide you with an efficient service.
What happens during a blinds installation?
Our installation team will arrive at time agreed and get straight to work fitting your new blinds. Once completed tour installation team will talk you through the operation of your new blinds. They will then will ask you to sign an agreement that you are happy with the blinds, service and safety elements of the blinds.
What happens after my blinds are fitted?
Once our Installation team have completed fitting your blinds and you’ve signed your agreement. You will be required to pay any outstanding balance on your order. This can be paid directly to our representative via by cheque or cash, or via card in store or over the phone on: 028 2564 4444
